The goal of this contest was to draw a picture which included a character cut from the original movie. I chose Mheetu.

One of the earlier plots stated that Mheetu was lured into the gorge by scar and that Simba tried to save him. Then Mufasa died in an attempt to save both Simba and Mheetu. I believe that Scar would still take the opportunity to blame Simba for the tragedy. Simba would still run away in shame unable to face his mother. And Scar would use the situation to manipulate Mheetu into later becoming his heir and turning him against Simba.
